About the Pacesetters…

The Pacesetters are the official dance and drill team of JJ Pearce High School.  The 2010-2011 team has 43 members including 6 officers.  Within the Pacesetter organization, there are two performance groups - Dance Team and Express, and a Social Committee.  Dance Team is composed of the most elite dancers on the team and Express is composed of the best high kickers on the team.  Social Committee is in charge of the team's motivational and social activities.

The Pacesetters perform at all pep rallies, varsity football games, as well as several varsity basketball games.  They also perform at various community events, hold an annual Holiday Bazaar, compete, host a dance clinic for young RISD students, and put on a spectacular show, Revue, each spring.
